Irvine - The Place to Be for High-Rises
There are plenty of low and mid-rise (under 6 stories) condos available in Orange County, but there are some distinct advantages to living in a high-rise. The higher you go, the better the views, but there’s also just something about being “up” above it all that strongly appeals to sophisticated urbanites. Of course, a lot of the attraction of high-rise living has to do with top-drawer amenities.
If you love high-rise living, then Irvine is definitely the place to be because it has several of the premier high-rise buildings in Orange County. Here are a few of the best to consider.
The Plaza is a high-end resort style high-rise community in Irvine with twin 15-story ultra contemporary towers. Two gorgeous controlled access lobbies feature attended front desk, conference rooms and multi-media centers. Residents enjoy almost a full acre of outdoor entertainment terrace that includes Olympic and lap pools, relaxing outdoor spa, massage rooms and a spacious, state-of-the-art fitness center.
Most of the condo homes at The Plaza are one floor and range from 1,100 to 4,300 square feet. Each residence has stone flooring, an entry foyer, 9-foot floor-to-ceiling windows with open floor plans and private covered balconies to enjoy the panoramic views. There are eight two-story penthouses in each of the Plaza’s towers. These homes feature stunning 19-foot ceilings with windows that reach all the way up from the floor.
3000 The Plaza is another top quality, ultra modern Irvine high-rise, not far away from The Plaza, just off Jamboree near the UC Irvine Arboretum. This 15-story tower has 105 luxury condo homes, ranging from 1,375 up to 3,025 square feet. Amenities include a rooftop pool with extensive entertainment/lounge area, fire pit and helicopter pad. Residents at 3000 The Plaza enjoy floor-to-ceiling windows, recessed lighting and full concierge service that includes making dinner reservations and handling dry cleaning. Marquee at Park Place is another Irvine high-rise community with a "wow" factor designed to impress. This is a new, multi-use development with two 18-story residential towers near The Plaza buildings on Jamboree Blvd. The condos at the Marquee at Park Place are almost all two bedroom, two bath homes – some have a den. They range from 1,275 to 2,062 square feet with private glass walled balconies.
There are four two-bedroom, two-story townhome style condos at the Marquee at Park Place out of the 228 new homes available there. This property is still being completed. When it’s all done, there will be as much as four million square feet of commercial/residential space on the property with a variety of dining and entertaining options.
