News > Northpark Master Planned Community

There are many choices for buyers looking for a townhome in Orange County today, but purchasing in a master planned community multiplies the homeowner benefits. In other words, not only do you reap the perks and shared amenities of an individual community, you also get to enjoy all the multi-use assets built into the larger community surrounding it. The condos and townhomes in Northpark are a great example.

Northpark is a master planned community in north Irvine that was developed by The Irvine Company between 1999 and 2003. It's a 603 acre site with a distinct Mediterranean influence but French, California Bungalow and Italian styles are here too so the neighborhoods have an authentic, custom look. Care was taken to preserve the decades old Eucalyptus trees that line the discontinuous, cul de sac streets. Every detail of community planning contributes to a welcoming place to call home and a socially connected neighborhood.

Here are a few of our favorite things about Northpark:

It's Gated

First of all, this is a gated community - which adds extra security and a sense of exclusivity in an already safe city. There is one gate for residents and another for visitors. Visitors must provide information about who they are visiting and a guard will call the resident to make sure the visitor was indeed invited. They take safety seriously.

It's Green

There are 31 acres of parks and open space inside the village gates - including Hicks Canyon Park at the village center with a walking trail and 15 private parks scattered through the neighborhoods.

Bella Vista Park is a formal garden with two large pergola-style structures and picnic tables for those lazy days in the sun. Montevina Park has a gazebo, outdoor grills and picnic area with a shady lawn. There's a swim center at Pacifica Park with a wading pool, junior Olympic pool, spa, basketball court and outdoor amphitheater. Lower Peters Canyon Park is just outside the gates and has soccer and softball fields, eight tennis courts and, yes, more grills and picnic areas.

It's Near Shopping

Northpark Plaza is the village shopping center that was built especially for residents so stocking the fridge and getting errands done doesn't have to be a time-consuming chore. There's a grocery store, fast food restaurants, a cleaners, spa and other convenient shops and services. The Tustin District Shopping Center is just down the road. There are many boutiques and restaurants and a multiplex. This mall is ringed by big box stores like Costco and Target so everything you need is close.

The townhomes and condos in Northpark come in a variety of floor plans and styles. Generally speaking, the townhomes are two and three story attached units in the 1,200 to 2,400 square foot range. Rear-entry garages preserve the drive-up appeal and private, patios and balconies enhance the well-appointed interiors. Monticello is a good example of this type of style, with front doors that open out to a green area.

Homeowners in these townhome communities pay an HOA fee for the townhome development and an HOA for Northpark too. See what condos and townhomes in Northpark are Available below.
